BARC Stipendiary Trainee Salary
Selected candidates for Stipendiary Trainee recruitment will be paid up to Rs 18,000 for stipendiary trainee category I, Rs 12,500 for stipendiary trainee category II, and Rs 25,500 for technician positions.
Stipendiary trainee Selection Procedure
Aspirants applying for BARC Stipendiary trainee jobs will be selected on the basis of written test and interview which will depend on category as mentioned below:
For Category 1
| The written test will be of 1-hour duration which will consist of 40 objective type multiple-choice questions. |
| The text description of the said examination will be of diploma/bachelor’s (science) level as the case may be. |
| Aspirants qualified for written tests will be short-listed for an interview and the date will be notified later. |
| 3 marks will be given for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. |
| Final selection and ranking will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the interview and the marks in the written examination will not be given any importance. The decision of Napuboard in this regard will be final. |
Selection Process Category 2
The selection process will consist of three Stage exams – Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3.
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
The organization will be screened for shortlisting. The format for the examination will be in the following format.
1) There will be 50 multiple-choice questions (option of four answers) for the duration of 1 hour in the exam in the following ratio: –

2) For each correct and 3 marks will be given and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
All candidates with <40% in the General category and <30% in a reserved category will be trimmed.
Stage 2: Advanced Examination
All the candidates shortlisted in Stage 1 will be allowed to participate in Stage 2 (Advanced Examination) in their respective professions.
| The exam will have 50 multiple-choice questions (option of four answers) for a period of 2 hours. |
| Three marks will be given for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. |
| After Stage 2, the merit list of the candidates will be prepared and it will be based on the marks of Stage 2 only. |
| All the candidates with <30% in the General category and <20% in a reserved category will be trimmed. |
Stage 3: Skill Test
- Therefore, Contenders who will qualify for stage2 will go for stage three, and for 3rd stage contenders will be shortlisted based on the merit list prepared after Stage 2.
- However, Candidates who pass the skill test will be shortlisted and nominated, which will be in the order of merit based on the stage 2 score.
